GPIPL recognises that only continuous learning & development helps the employees acquire the core competencies needed for competitive advantage. Individual's training needs are identified through appraisals, counselling, meetings, assessments, and career development plans. There is a definite alignment between programs, learning objectives, and business objectives.
GPIPL fosters Learning & development initiatives for employees in both technical and behavioural areas. The training programs follow various formats, including classroom instruction, on-the-job training, job rotations, experience & thought sharing & external seminars etc. An annual training calendar is designed, highlighting the training programmes for the year, by taking inputs from competency matrices, performance assessments, one on one interactions & development plans.
We encourages all our Managers & above to conduct a minimum one training in a year. This not only helps them in developing further but also improves their management & guidance skills.
