About Compressed Biogas (CBG)

CBG is a mixture of hydrocarbon gasses and vapours produced by decomposing plant and animal waste. Given the abundance of biowaste available within the country, CNG can be replaced as a cleaner alternative in automotive, industrial, and commercial areas. CBG is a clean energy alternative suitable for diverse transportation, cooking, and power generation applications. Beyond reducing greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution, CBG underscores our commitment to circular economy principles and effective waste management.

The Government of India published the National Policy on Biofuels on 16 May 2018. The policy aims to increase the usage of biofuels in the country’s energy and transportation sectors during the coming decade.

This cooperation shows how powerful CBG projects can be and highlights the need for partnerships and collaboration to achieve real change and create a sustainable energy future. As the globe looks to adopt cleaner energy options, schemes such as these become symbols of hope and inventiveness for a better future.
