MWM TCG 3020 V16 GAS ENGINE – LATEST GENERATION MACHINE OF MWM GERMANY SUCCESSFULLY COMMISSIONED AND HANDED OVER
The first latest third generation series 3020 series machine commissioned by Green Power International Ltd. in Jan 2023. The gas engine is now under the service Portfolio of GPI Power Nigeria, the Nigerian subsidiary of Green Power International Pvt. Ltd.
The Panar Group of Companies has been a leading plastics manufacturer in Nigeria since 1976. Currently, they are one of the largest suppliers of Jerry cans, Plastic pipes and preforms have a leading name in this industry.
This engine TCG 3020V16 having generation capacity of 1840 Kwe @ 415V in the power plant has been commissioned and successfully handed over and is in continuous operation. Panar Group is an existing user of the TCG2020V12K1, 1000 Kwe Gas engine in operation for the past 8 years, in captive power mode in open cycle.

High Engine Output for High Production Demands
The MWM TCG2020 V12K1 gas engine, which has an output of 1000 kW, was installed by Green Power International Pvt. Ltd for Panar Limited, in the year 2014. The MWM Gas Genset has completed over 50,000 operating hours.
Thanks to the reliability of the genset and the assistance of the Nigerian arm of Green Power International, the facilities operated at an achieved excellent availability throughout their production cycle. Panar Ltd. is under the exclusive maintenance of GPI POWER NIGERIA operation and maintenance team.
PANAR LIMITED has been the most prestigious and a loyal customer of Green Power International, completing 48,000 hours of unit operation in 2022 and awarding us with a second order of TCG 3020 V16 in the same year.
TCG 3020 V16 COMMISSIONED AT PANAR SITE
Panar now has two MWM gas engines continuously operating: TCG 2020 V12 K1, Installed in 2014, and MWM TCG 3020 V16 1840 Kwe, installed in Jan 2023. These engines were recently commissioned in separate side-by-side independent powerhouses that are synchronized in their power plant.
